AWS have services available in 70 availability zones in 22 geographic regions around the world. There are 3 availability zones in Sydney, and Edge Locations in Melbourne and Perth.

The flexibility which AWS provides by having multiple points of presence across Australia means we are able to provide redundant connectivity paths into AWS. By hosting IaaS solutions across these availability zones we are able to plan for business continuity in case of a disaster in that data centre location.
